Panda Waste is offering its 150,000 customers €40 off their waste collection bill when they sign up with sister company Panda Power. 

The new provider is expected to use this latest incentive to encourage its sister company’s 150,000 domestic customers, mostly concentrated around the east coast of the country, to make the switch to Panda Power, and away from the more established and expensive providers.

The offer is available to all Panda Waste customers that have had a Panda Waste account for six months or longer.

Panda Power Managing Director, Brendan Traynor, said: “Since entering the Irish electricity market in June of this year, we have already made a major impact, bringing new competition to the market and forcing other suppliers to lower their prices, all to the benefit of Irish consumers.
 
“Every day we are signing up new customers, many of whom are already aware of the high-quality service already provided by Panda Waste.
 
“Today’s offer is about putting something back in the pockets of our valued waste customers, while encouraging them to switch to Panda Power to enjoy the same high level of service and value from their electricity supplier. There are no gimmicks just significant savings on offer for customers who make the switch.”
 
Further details on related investments in renewable energy infrastructures are expected to be announced in the coming months, as the company seeks to build on its green credentials.
 
Panda Power first entered the Irish electricity market in June of this year.
